des16n : exhibition

des16n is the end of year exhibition of graduating students from the BA (hons) Graphic Design (visual communication and illustration) course in the London School of Film Media and Design at the University of West London

Running alongside the University Showcase taking place in the St Marys Road building in Ealing, des16n represents the outward looking face of the course; a chance for these students to publicise their wide range of skills and ideas as they launch themselves in to careers in the creative industries.

The exhibition has been initiated, planned, funded and organised by the students themselves in the heart of East London – the focus of the UK creative industries where they are looking to find employment.

Including print and screen based work, still and moving image work, hand made and digitally produced work the exhibition will showcase the breadth of rigorously contemporary design skills currently being explored on the course.

Sophisticated creative thinking and problem solving skills are allied with high level technical and software skills making these students an eminently employable group of creatives.

Private view is on the evening of Thursday 12th may at 6pm
and is open on Friday 13th and Saturday 14th may from 11am till 6pm
